Using blend4web's Project Manager to Upload a 3D Blender Scene (with Physics) to a Web Server
This tutorial shows how to generate the files needed to upload a 3D scene to a web server, using Blender and blend4web. The the previous tutorial showed how to use the blend4web SDK (software development kit) to export an interactive Blender 3D scene to web browser without needing a plugin. The SDK turns your computer into a local server to display the scene. This tutorial uses the blend4web utility, project manager, to bundle the required files together ready for them to be uploaded to a web server. The tutorial also shows the syntax of the link required by the web browser to access the scene. Steps - Use project manager to create a new project, filling in the new project form. Copy the Blender file into the project folder, delete the dummy Blender file and rename the real file. The following is a link to the file used in the tutorial - http://ift.tt/1Q7VwVi In project manager click the ‘re-export scenes’ operation to overwrite the dummy json file. In project manager click the ‘deploy project’ operation and save the zip file. Upload the contents of the zip file to your web server. The link to the scene should be like the following - http://ift.tt/1UQpj3h For more tutorials and support materials visit my website - http://ift.tt/1TMqijl
