Modeling a Leather Journal in Blender (timelapse)

This is a FREE preview of the first project in the upcoming course Blender Unleashed: Master Subdivision Surface Modeling. A basic to intermediate course for Blender users who are looking to polish their modeling skills. This timelapse represents 11 unique lessons covering the complete modeling of a leather journal inside Blender. In the course the lessons are taught realtime and this project represents about 3 hours of in depth instruction on subdivision surface modeling, Blender's procedural modifier stack, and helpful tips and tricks for modeling basic to complex objects with high levels of detail.
